Born from a student podcast at the University of Patras in 2022, we've grown into a non-profit NGO connecting young innovators with the global startup ecosystem.
From a podcast idea to an international NGO
Entrepreneurship Talks began as a student-led podcast project at the University of Patras in April 2022. Created by a group of passionate students eager to spark insightful conversations about entrepreneurship, it has since grown into a registered non-profit NGO and an EU-backed youth organization dedicated to inspiring the entrepreneurial spirit among young people.
What started as casual conversations has evolved into an international platform that connects aspiring entrepreneurs with founders, investors, and industry leaders through business trips to Stockholm and London, community meetups in Athens, and EU-funded educational programs.
Today, Entrepreneurship Talks goes far beyond podcasting — we organize international business trips, host community meetups, run workshops, and participate in Erasmus+ programs, all aimed at empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs across Europe.
From idea to international NGO
Every milestone that shaped who we are today
The Beginning
Launched as a student-led podcast at the University of Patras, Entrepreneurship Talks was born from a vision to create an authentic space for discussing entrepreneurship, self-improvement, and innovation among young minds.
Podcast Transformation
In 2023, the format evolved from casual team conversations to formal guest interviews. Our very first guest was Nikos Sklavounos, founder of Unistudents, setting the tone for future in-depth and impactful discussions with inspiring entrepreneurs.
Official NGO Status
Entrepreneurship Talks officially registered as a Non-Profit Civil Law Company (AMKE) in Greece, marking a significant milestone in legitimizing and expanding our mission of entrepreneurial education and youth empowerment.
First Business Trip – Stockholm
We organized our first international educational business trip to Stockholm. This initiative connected 15 aspiring entrepreneurs with innovation hubs and top companies like Ericsson, offering hands-on exposure to global startup ecosystems.
Community Meetups – Athens & Stockholm
We organized multiple community meetups in Athens and Stockholm, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, founders, and mentors for networking, knowledge sharing, and hands-on workshops.
London Business Trip
Our second business trip brought participants to London — visiting Google, Spotify, Coca-Cola, King’s College, LSE & Imperial College, and connecting with early-stage startups, deepening international exposure.
Second London Trip
We returned to London with a new cohort, meeting founders and VCs, and visiting Coca-Cola, Revolut, Jet Business, the London Institute of Healthcare Engineering, and the Greek Embassy — reinforcing our commitment to international entrepreneurial exposure.
EU-Funded Erasmus+ Project
Entrepreneurship Talks was awarded an Erasmus+ KA153 project focused on capacity building for international youth workers in life skills education. This EU-funded program marks a milestone in our mission to drive youth empowerment through cross-border cooperation.
